Climate Bridges at Davos: Building Bridges for Systemic Transformation

This year at Davos, one of the key highlights for our community was the Climate Hub, an alternative venue that stood as an island of resilience, resistance, and genuine commitment to People and the Planet, amidst the geopolitical turbulence shaping global climate diplomacy.

We were honored to play an active role as facilitators, hosts, and organizers, fostering deep and impactful conversations on the challenges and opportunities of the climate transition through our Circle of Trust. This dedicated space enabled meaningful and authentic exchanges, while the Closing Panel provided a platform to shape our collective commitment to Switzerland future.

Our deepest gratitude goes to Nicole Keller, Michaela Reimann, and the entire GreenUp Switzerland team for pioneering this inclusive and innovative space, and for their ability to navigate the unexpected events of the World Economic Forum week with resilience and vision.

A heartfelt thank you also to those who shared their insights and inspiring perspectives on the power of systemic transformation, combining the agility of the butterfly with the persistence of the turtle:

  • Elisabeth Stern, engaged with Klimaseniorinnen Switzerland, advocating for climate justice and systemic change

  • Alessandro Medici, Co-founder and CEO of Power-Blox, revolutionizing decentralized energy solutions

  • Heierling Hans-Martin, Owner and CEO of Heierling AG, the world’s oldest ski boot manufacturer

  • Noemi Rom, Head of Sustainable Transformation at Zuhlke

  • Sasha Cisar, Head of SDG Research & Active Ownership at Radicant Bank

Now more than ever, we must build bridges of trust to continue advancing the Action Agenda for Climate, People, and Nature, both globally and locally.

We look forward to our upcoming multi-stakeholder finance dialogues in Geneva on March 5th and Zurich on April 3rd, where we will continue to drive the conversation on sustainable finance and its key role in the ecological transition.
