More context about the public conference:

Across the world, women play a vital role in producing food, sustaining rural livelihoods, and preserving agricultural knowledge. Women are leading the transition towards a more regenerative form of agriculture, scaling up nature-based solutions, and enhancing climate resilience, creating triple win opportunities for climate, people and nature. Resilient food systems and societies are also essential to ensure stability and peace around the world.

This panel brings together women farmers, local leaders, and practitioners from different regions across the world, to share lived experiences, perspectives, and solutions. Through dialogue and exchange, we will explore the realities women face in food production today, identify common threads across contexts, and reflect on what needs to change—at policy, societal, and systemic levels—to support more just and resilient food systems. The discussion is part of Climate Bridges’ broader commitment to radical collaboration and inclusive dialogue, bridging local and global perspectives and amplifying the voices of those shaping food systems transformation.
