Impact Report 2025-2026: Fostering Dialogue, Trust and Resilience for Climate, People & Nature
Despite of the challenging context, our team and members have continued to deliver high-impact initiatives throughout 2025 and already started charting the path forward for 2026.
The Multistakeholder Finance Dialogues gathered 30+ partners across the finance and climate sectors, bringing together 400+ participants in 3 months. The finance initiative is now safely "en route" to reaching 100K signatures to become part of the legislative process, yet a few more signatures are required to be on the safe side.
COP30 was the springboard for the emergence of a much larger alliance of financial institutions around We-Fi, the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiatives to address the finance gap, - less than 1% of climate finance is going to women-led initiatives-, together with the Green Climate Fund, ADB, IDB and many other partners such as Project Dandelion and our champion Mary Robinson. During our stay in Belém, we also engaged in multiple partnerships and bilateral meetings to advocate for the successful adoption of the Gender Action Plan and more ambition for finance for forests and food systems.
With the circle of the International Gender Champions Climate Impact Group co-chairs and members, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement and the 1st anniversary of the Geneva Pledge, with a new compendium of best practices showcasing the implementation of the Pledge by States, International Organizations and Civil Society leaders.
Last but not least, we experimented a new way of being, doing and acting, infusing mindfulness, care and compassion into our day to day work, piloting the Summer Solstice Retreats which will continue next year for High-Impact Climate Leaders to become part of the Earth Stewardship Cohorts. We also intervened, spoke, facilitated or participated in a large number of high-level events, at the UN, at Building Bridges, at the OSCE Forum for example, where we brought this new spirit of mindfulness and togetherness, Being "One with the Earth", in formal settings and spaces of influence for decision-makers.
What’s coming up in 2026?
Over the coming months, we will continue the long-term development, growing and nourishing the ecosystem of members and partners dedicated to People, Planet and Prosperity, while also focusing on strategic initiatives, building momentum around key milestones:
March 5th: The Food Systems Day celebrating Womens' leadership transforming food systems: This will include the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights consultations and a series of open dialogues in the afternoon, including the soft launch of the Conscious Food Systems Alliance hub for Switzerland as well as a new initiative building bridges of solidarity between the Global South and the Global North, with the "sister farms" peer-to-peer system and mentoring community. August 31st to September 4th: UN Conscious Food Systems Alliance Summit (Bhutan), under the leadership of the Prime Minister of Bhutan, and with the support of the CoFSA-UNDP hosted alliance of multi-stakeholder partners. Climate Bridges has joined the Alliance and was asked to play an active role in co-creating the women leadership program and an inclusive space for partnership building and action: https://consciousfoodsystems.org/bhutan-summit-2026/ .
9-20 November, COP31 in Antalya, Turkey, with Australia leading the negotiations and the Pacific Islands hosting pre-COP, as a new model of shared leadership. We will continue pushing for more progress on finance, food, including and diversity in the negotiations track, while also working with the High-Level Champions team on the Global Action Agenda now launched for 5 years, including on food systems transformation, mentoring and accelerated access to finance for women entrepreneurs and women farmers as part of the Food & Water work stream defined as priority for the COP Presidency: https://cop.sifiratikvakfi.org/en/ .
We look forward to continuing the collective journey with you !
